When it comes time for payment, you can pay in one of the following ways

We can send contract for secure digital signing, or, print, fill, scan. and mail.

Secure the dates of your choice, half rent amount, 30 days prior to arrival bal of half, 3 days prior to arrival complete refundable deposit. Payment in full for rental amount is due 30 days prior to arrival.

 

If signing up on line and choosing this option, please e-mail us to tell us that the payment is in the mail.

Credit Card payments:

Can be made on line, or by phoning us directly. Please do NOT fax your information.  The credit card payments can be made either through Paypal on www.lakenorman2go.com, or by phoning your info in to us. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, and nearly anything else! Please note that this will constitute an additional 2.5% service charge.

There's no shortage of things to do on Lake Norman. The Lake Norman region is comprised of several small towns surrounding the lake and Lake Norman State Park. Mooresville is one of the towns on the east side and is renowned for its 60 or so NASCAR race shops and other NASCAR attractions. Things to do in the Lake Norman area include swimming, boating and sailing, fishing, water skiing, camping, hiking and picnicking. Boat rentals and guided Lake Norman fishing tours are available and Lake Norman hosts several fishing tournaments each year.Golf is popular around Lake Norman due to the mild climate. For things to do with children there's Queens Landing, the Lazy 5 ranch in Mooresville and Carowinds theme park-to name a few.

Mooresville has the nick-name of "Race City" because of the number of NASCAR teams who have their race shops in Mooresville. Visit the Mooresville NASCAR Auto racing Hall of Fame (5 mins).The museum, dedicated to all types of racing, features over 35 race cars on display. Relive racing's greatest moments in the Goodyear Mini-Theater now featuring "NASCAR's Greatest Drivers" narrated by Dr. Jerry Punch, filmed at the Hall of Fame. You can also simply stroll by the many showcases and displays.

Take a tour of the NASCAR race shops in Mooresville including the famous Dale Earnheardt-forget the driving and the map and let the NASCAR experts take control.Visit 23 NASCAR race teams in a 7 hour tour.
Memory Lane museum (5 mins) has 100 exhibitions including  NASCAR stock cars and other vintage autos.

Raceworld USA,revolutionary NASCAR experience  is a new Michael Waltrip  facility-allows every NASCAR racing fan to see behind the scenes of a real NASCAR Race Team.Next door to Extreme toys karting and mini golf (see below).

The PIT Indoor Kart Racing in Mooresville - experience the adrenaline rush of indoor kart racing. The  largest indoor track in the country, the karts at Pit Indoor Kart Racing sit just an inch off the track and can reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. In addition to the 70,000 foot kart track, The Pit also offers an arcade, a laser tag arena, and billiards. Visit the website for racing packages and pricing.

Lowe's Motor Speedway-host of the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600  30 mins from Mooresville in Concord. NASCAR Race weeks feature 3-4 times yearly and the Summer Shoot out Season on weekday evenings during the summer is great value fun for all the family!Watch NASCAR youngsters race on the short track.

The NASCAR Speedpark is a racing themed fun park with 8 Go Kart tracks (some indoor), mini golf, bumper boats and Laser Tag. Part of the Concord Mills shopping Mall- let the girls shop while the boys bond!




At 34 miles long with 500 miles of shoreline Lake Norman is the largest lake in North Carolina.For swimming Lake Norman reaches temperatures of over 80F in the summer,and is popular with boaters.There are several islands to moor up at and enjoy a picnic.If you plan to boat on Lake Norman we recommend you are familiar with the Lake Norman boating rules and purchase a map of the Lake.

Tropical boat rental is the Lake Norman boat rental company recommended by us and our guests. Delivery of boats to our Lake Norman boat dock is included in the rental cost if a boat is rented for more than 2 days.They offer pontoon boats, power cruisers and wave runners to rent, or bring your own boat!
The nearest Lake Norman boat ramp is Stutts Marina (small charge)-5 minutes from our rental home. Our cove is quiet (a no wake zone),deep and close to the main channel and the dock will take a boat up to 23 feet.
Queens landing offer dinner and lunch cruises if you prefer not to negotiate Lake Norman on your own.




With 520 miles shoreline Lake Norman provides excellent fishing.Stripers, bass, crappie and catfish can be caught all year on lake Norman and surrounding lakes, only the technique changes with the season.
You can take a  Lake Norman fishing tour with our local fishing expert,Captain Gus. Learn fishing techniques that will improve your fishing and allow you to catch more fish  Light tackle is used to maximize the excitement of  fishing on Lake Norman. Fishing guides with Captain Gus are available year round.

Each Year Lake Norman hosts several fishing tournaments including the Wal-Mart FLW Tour and  will host the 2008 NBC Tour Championship fishing tournament in July

Lake Norman Fishing licenses can be purchased on-line or from any Wal-Mart store (nearest 10 mins -east on HWY 150 just past I77).


Discovery Place Charlotte (30 mins) a hands on science museum is great for a rainy day (not that there are many) and features an OMNIMAX theatre, planetarium, Life Centre and Nature museum.

Charlotte Museum of History (30 mins) covers Charlotte's history from early Native American villages through to present plus restored 1774 homesite

Mint Museum of Art includes pre-Columbrian art, regional crafts, historic costumes & African art

Carolinas Aviation Museum housed in the original hanger built for Charlotte's first airport

North Carolina Transportation Museum - Spencer (45 mins) located on the site of Southern Railway Company's largest steam locomotive repair facility.  Ride a train around the museum, visit antique autominiles in Bumper to bumper and view numerous trains in the restored 1924 roundhouse.  Covers 57 acres.  Free admission (small charge for train ride)
Historic Brattonsville - (1 hr) Revolutionary war battle site with restored house, livestock, nature trails.




Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens - Belmont (450 acres on the banks of Lake Wylie).  Named one of the Nation's 20 Great Gardens.  110 acres of themed gardens, 12 fountains, woodland trail.
University of North Carolina Botanical and Sculpture Gardens

You can't keep Paramount Carowinds (35 mins) a secret from the kids for long in North Carolina.  The 105 acre park has more than 50 world class rides, shows and attractions and also a water park. 
Ride the Borg if you dare!

The Lazy 5 ranch (20 mins) has 700 animals from all over the World.  Take the 3 and a half mile safari  in your own car or on horse drawn carts.  Feed the animals as you go but be sure to watch out for the cow with the big horns (I'm sure he won't mind us saying that!) that greets you as you enter!  Excellent fun.

Queens Landing
(10 mins) has 2 mini golf courses, bumper boats plus Steam paddle boat dinner cruises on lake Norman .Also live open air music and dancing during the summer months

Lake Norman State Park offers Row boats, paddle boats and canoe hire as well as picnic tables and grills.150 feet of sandy beach with a roped off swimming area.

Lowes YMCA Mooresville (5 mins) is a newly built YMCA with indoor/outdoor swimming and sport facilities.

Rays Splash Planet in Charlotte (30 mins) is an indoor leisure pool with slides/chutes,etc




Lake Norman is popular with golfers.Mild winters mean that you can play golf 10-11 months of the year! Within 2 hours of Lake Norman there are 40 golf courses including Pinehurst national.
